Print Agent

A small background service that lets the web POS print receipts on this computer's printers. This is only needed if you use POS WEB in a browser — POS Desktop prints natively and doesn't need it. Install once — after that, every future update installs itself automatically, with no action needed.

Installation steps (Mac)

  1. 1Click "Download for Mac" above and wait for the download to finish.
  2. 2Open the downloaded .dmg file, then open "POS Print Agent Installer".
  3. 3The first time you open it, macOS shows a warning because the app isn't from the App Store — that's expected. Control-click (or right-click) the app, choose "Open", then click "Open" again in the confirmation dialog.
  4. 4If that doesn't show an "Open" option, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and you'll find the blocked app there with an "Open Anyway" button — click it.
  5. 5Click "Install" in the app. It copies the agent, sets it to start automatically, and starts it right away.
  6. 6Once you see a success message, you're done — leave the app running in the background, it needs no further attention.
You'll only see the macOS warning once, on this first install. Every future version updates itself in the background with no warnings and no action from you.

Installation steps (Windows)

  1. 1Click "Download for Windows" above and wait for the download to finish.
  2. 2Open the downloaded installer file.
  3. 3Windows shows a "Windows protected your PC" warning because the app isn't signed yet — that's expected. Click "More info", then click "Run anyway".
  4. 4Click "Install" in the app. It copies the agent, sets it to start automatically, and starts it right away.
  5. 5Once you see a success message, you're done — leave the app running in the background, it needs no further attention.
You'll only see the Windows warning once, on this first install. Every future version updates itself in the background with no warnings and no action from you.
